Readack

Privacy policy

Last updated June 13, 2026

Readack (“we”) provides email tracking for Gmail. This policy describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to show you when your emails are opened and clicked, we never sell data, and we hash rather than store IP addresses.

What we collect

What we don’t collect

Recipients

Tracking signals (opens, clicks) are collected on behalf of the sender. Mail clients that proxy or prefetch images (Gmail, Apple Mail) limit what can be inferred; we classify these fetches and present opens as signals with confidence levels, not certainties.

Storage & processing

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Neon — Postgres in the EU region, and Resend for transactional email). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your account record, tracked emails, recipients, links, and events. Contact us at privacy@readack.com for any data request.

Changes

We will update this page when the policy changes; material changes will be announced in the product.
